11/4/08-Election Day

Today we learned about Election Day. Ms Apey told us about Elections and how they work. She also told us that there is a big election this year for many reasons. She told us that when we vote it means we have a say in what will happen, or that we can change things by voting.
We had color sheets of a voting box.

After we colored we held our own election.

Shannen guarded the voting box.

Maddie showed us what our ballots looked like.

We each took a turn picking who we thought should be president.

After everyone had a chance to vote we counted the ballots.

In our election John McCain won!
