3/18/09- Zoo Phonics and Letter R

Today we started a new program called Zoo Phonics. It is a new tool used to teach letter sounds and recognition. Each letter has an animal associated with it, and there is a story and hand movement to go with each sound. The kids really seemed to enjoy it.

After we were finished with Zoo Phonics, we learned about the letter R.

Riley found the letter R on our alphabet chart.


We had writing sheets...

And then we painted Rainbow pictures.
