4/21/09- Letter U Day 2

Today we reviewed the letter U. We started our day with Zoophonics. I am so impressed with all the kids. Each one is picking up letter sounds and their letter recognition is amazing. I actually have some students able to sound out words now using Zoophonics!

After Zoophonics we read a story about and Umbrella Bird!

Next we each tried to make the letter U with blocks!

Then we practiced signing the letter U.

After we signed the letter U, we shared our U items from home.

We ran out of time for writing practice, but did get to color Unicorns!
