The younger group read a short story. Shannen took words and sounded them out with the kids, by using Zoo Phonics. The kids used their hand motions and made letter sounds.
The older kids practiced writing their sight words, up and down!
After our Reading Groups, we did an A art project!
We also shared A items from home.
Gage brought Applesauce for all his friends!
Kelly, Maddie and Mason all brought Alligators, just like Ally from our Zoo Phonics!
Lauren brought Ariel and Kori brought an Apple... but my camera battery died.. : ( so I couldn't get a picture!
